DIALux is a free software developed by DIAL for professional light planning. With a community of over 700,000 users, the light planning tool is available in 25 languages and is free of charge for users.
As a platform and software tool, it connects planners and manufacturers all over the world.
The software is used by light planners and designers worldwide to design lighting systems for indoor and outdoor spaces. Using a 3D rendering functionality, the designer can plan the lighting of the interior, exterior and street lighting as well as planning emergency lighting, lighting scenes, colour and intensity of the light sources to be used, and much more.
All renowned luminaire manufacturers offer digital product data for planning in DIALux in the form of an electronic catalogue available to users of the software all over the world. Manufacturers can present their products using 3D models, product images and product descriptions. Designers can install lighting manufacturer’s DIALux plugins, or use individual photometric files if a catalogue is not available.
DIALux software is available as a desktop version and as a basic mobile app which can be downloaded at the following link - https://www.dial.de/en/dialux/
