One of the key topics discussed was METRICS. Our panellists discussed standardised, cross-industry metrics such as lifecycle and carbon footprint assessments.
The argument raised was that these should be adopted to assess environmental impact.
For example, TM66, a useful circular economy metric for street and urban lighting, provides steps for better environmental performance and is rapidly rolling out into other sectors.
