The importance of photometry for the lighting industry is undeniable. It’s the science of measuring light, which is fundamental for all aspects of our industry. A lot of photometric data in the form of LDT and IES files pass across our desks, and many of them can be problematic. In this guide, we try to explain some of the common pitfalls in Photometric testing to raise awareness and provide further education to all users of photometric data.
