Established in 1982 by Tony Stewart OBE, ASD Lighting PLC Design, Develop & Manufacture in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK. In addition to the general functions associated with a head office our facilities range from our product design studio, laboratories & testing facilities. Right through a significant number of our manufacturing processes, powder coating plant and lastly our final assembly lines.

In-house manufacturing includes, but is not limited to Injection Moulding, Light Engine Manufacture (SMT Facility), Pre-Treatment & Powder Coating, Form In-place Gasketing, Injection Moulding.

These facilities, along with final assembly lines combining our labour force and Cobots (collaborative robots that work safely in conjunction with operatives), ensure ASD remains competitive and at the forefront of innovative manufacturing techniques. Increased automation has improved efficiencies, boosting sales and leading to more staff recruitment to meet growing customer demands. Every product undergoes full function testing at the end of manufacturing, including pre-wiring, to ensure they are fully operational when leaving the factory.
