The TiL 2019 Speaker Line-Up and Event Program Is Unmissable
TiL 2019 (Trends in Lighting Forum +Show) has, for the third year in a row, created an outstanding event program, dedicated to bridging the gap between architecture, application, design and technologies.
Joining over 1700 delegates and 100 exhibitors in Bregenz this year will be experts from lighting design, architecture, planning, investment and research. The varied and exciting speakers will be sharing their knowledge on key trends in lighting, including Smart Lighting, New Lighting Design Approaches & Applications, Connectivity & IoT, Human Centric Lighting and many more. These chosen specialists will be inspiring attendees with their future visions, creative designs, trend insights, and research findings in over 60 carefully selected lectures.
"TiL 2019 is an interactive and insightful information hub created by, and for, experts in lighting design, architecture, planning and investment in order to collectively build the future of light. It is designed especially to bridge the gap between application, design and technology. Bringing together those who strive for excellence in the application of light with those who are researching and developing the technologies that will enable and drive them.” Siegfried Luger, Event Director.
A New Horizon: Exploring the topic of the future, and what it might bring to the applications of light, and how it will shape trends, is a key focus of this year’s event. The super-star Keynote from Keith Bradshaw of Speirs + Major, “New Perspectives in Lighting Design”, will see him share his vision. Also looking ahead to the future will be the CEO panel discussion on “Future Luminary Design”, and a workshop from USA based Lumentix called “What Will Lighting Become?”
Delegates will also hear from Bert Junghans of Zumtobel on, “The Evolution of Lighting Design Process in Digital Times”, Yasaman Mavvaj of Körner Design, on “Ambient Lighting Design for Persuasive Environments Using Social Media”, Simon Dunkley of TALQ Consortium on “Smart Lighting to Smart Cities”, and also Diana Galic of Nova Lux exploring the difficult working balance that must be found in her session “The Lighting Designers Role in Complex Projects”.
“The TiL event gave us a human centred and highly focussed insight into the latest technologies and ideological developments inside the LED industry. As a designer, I enjoyed this carefully curated, international event that seemed like the litmus proof of all things relevant in LED lighting – its current trends, design and its future perspectives.” Helmut Kinzler, Zaha Hadid Architects.
Hands-On: Experience-led learning is celebrated as the delegates can get hands-on in several in-depth and varied workshops throughout the event. This year TiL welcomes multiple industry experts including: Visual Perception Workshop from Bartenbach, Light Sources for Human Centric Lighting Workshop from Nichia, Evolution of Lighting Design Processes from Zumtobel, and also Next Generation Light Guides and OLED from EPIC.
Award Winners: After the successful launch of the awards they are returning this year, bigger and more exciting than before. We have increased the awards categories for our exhibitors so we can all celebrate the complete spectrum of light. The three TiL Awards are given to the Best Lighting Application, the Best Connected Lighting Solution and for the Best Non-Architectural LED Lighting.
TiL 2019 is supported by BMVIT, Regent Lighting, Silvair, Trilux and the Zumtobel Group. It is co-located with the 9th LED professional Symposium +Expo and the 1st DALI Summit 2019 from the Digital Illumination Interface Alliance (DiiA).
The Early Bird tickets are available until July 2nd.
