Guillermo de Peñaranda becomes Chief Executive Officer at TRILUX
Guillermo Fernandez de Peñaranda Bonet will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on 01.10.2019. He will assume the duties of Michael Huber who is as General Representative taking over an active role in the TRILUX Supervisory Board. Long-standing CTO Dietmar Zembrot will leave the company at his own request as of 30.09.2019.
Guillermo de Peñaranda has been a member of the TRILUX Management Board since April 2019. Now the next step takes place: as of 01.10.2019, the 42-year-old manager from Spain takes over the duties of the general representative Michael Huber. Guillermo de Peñaranda has almost twenty years of experience in the international management of successful German industrial groups such as Thyssenkrupp and Bosch and, as the new CEO, will be responsible for the strategic alignment of the TRILUX Group.
“With our strategic core themes of digitalization, internationalization and our customer centric approach we create the perfect conditions for TRILUX to develop into a strong global player within a dynamic market,” stated de Peñaranda about his areas of responsibility.
A company-wide change process will make this realignment both visible and tangible at all levels as well as successfully implementing it long term into the company. Michael Huber, hitherto General Representative, will continue to support TRILUX with his expertise and experience as member of the Supervisory Board.
Farewell to CTO Dietmar Zembrot
Further personnel news at board level: Dietmar Zembrot, Chief Technological Officer (CTO) for many years, is leaving TRILUX on 30.09.2019. Mr. Zembrot, as CTO since 2008, has been responsible for Research, Development and Product Management and has made a decisive contribution to the technological development of TRILUX in recent years.
“With his many years of experience and expertise Dietmar Zembrot has played a significant role in the successful development of the TRILUX Group. Under his leadership we have successfully completed the transformation to LED. We have established our technological leadership with the founding of the ITZ, and have systematically further developed it until today,” explained Michael Huber. Mr. Zembrot’s proposal to take a new responsibility was followed.
