Following the UK referendum in 2016 and subsequent trade negotiations, the UK has now left the European Union.
The LIA continues to take an active role in EURIS and MAKE UK and holds specific talks with Government departments on lighting-related issues. As and when there is anything to report The LIA will circulate to the membership.
The purpose of this page is to provide guidance on technical requirements for placing products on the market, for specific customs-related information visit the HMRC website. It should be noted, whilst The LIA endeavours to provide the most up-to-date guidance, it is the responsibility of each business to check and comply with the respective rules and legislation that applies to them.
