The LIA’s 2024 Autumn Tech Forum, held on Wednesday 23rd October at The Studio in Birmingham, was a huge success, attended and enjoyed exclusively by LIA members.

The ICEL Emergency Lighting Conference is taking place on Thursday 12th September, at the Cavendish Conference Centre in London, with registration from 8.30am and concluding at 6pm following a networking and drinks reception. This event has been carefully curated by ICEL to deliver insights and expertise in emergency lighting and is free to attend thanks to the generous sponsorship of our sponsors.

The LIA is excited to announce the successful launch of its newly refreshed website, which went live on 2nd July 2024. This launch marks a significant milestone in The LIA's ongoing commitment to enhancing member experience and providing key resources for continuing professional development.

The LIA recently hosted a member-only Spring Technical Forum, bringing together industry leaders, and experts, to explore the latest trends and advancements impacting the future of lighting.

The LIA, has marked 12 successful months at its recent Annual General Meeting, where the new Board President was also inaugurated. The sold out event, held at the renowned Drapers’ Hall in London, officially marked the start of David Barnwell’s (Holophane Europe Ltd) tenure as the 2024/25 LIA president. He was passed the presidential chains from outgoing official Matt Carpenter (Sylvania Lighting).

Achieving Net Zero for lighting must encompass everything from supply-chain sustainability and logistics, to customer engagement. This was one of the key messages to come from the Net Zero Lighting Conference in London.
